In honor of graduating today, I thought I would just do a quick post calling attention to a column I wrote for The Huntington News about graduating. Here’s an excerpt:
The college years are so much more than just an academic experience – they’re a life experience. Many adults treasure their time in college and reflect on it often. It is heartbreaking to know that this time of my life, when I had endless fun and very minimal responsibilities, is now drawing to a close. I even find myself looking at freshmen with scowls of jealousy because they get to experience college for the first time.
I urge you all to check it out! The range of emotions I feel today is crazy, but luckily I have already explained it in this column, my final piece that was published among the Northeastern community. The Russian and I will be taking off to Newport for a quick getaway, and will be back as soon as I find the best spots to grab lobstah by the sea.
